Enjoy classes with the incredible Laura Glaess and Brooks Prumo!
This year, we will be offering two types of class pass: the All-Access Weekend Pass and the Solo Weekend Pass. The All-Access Weekend Pass will get you into ANY of the scheduled activities, except competitions. We will also have Solo Weekend Passes available this year, which will get you into the 2-hour solo dance workshop with Laura (Sunday morning) and all the dances. Select this option if you'd like to spend Saturday exploring Madison and Sunday afternoon traveling home.
See class pass pricing.
If you are planning on purchasing the All-Access Weekend Pass, we will have a single track of classes open to dancers that meet or exceed the prerequisite skill level (intermediate). There will not be an audition process; however, the instructors will not stop or explain content covered by the prerequisites. Please be respectful of other dancers and sign up only if you meet the requirements. For those interested in the Solo Dance Pass, we will not have prerequisites to attend.
For dancers that feel they exceed the requirements, please still consider attending classes. Laura and Brooks are incredible instructors that bring valuable content to all levels. You won't be disappointed!
Please register for classes only if you meet or exceed the following requirements. We define "feeling comfortable" as being able to execute these movements in your social dancing.
I feel comfortable dancing (a):
Classes are held at the Overture Center for the Arts, a beautiful venue close to parking, lunch, and shopping. All classes will be held in rooms with well cared for hardwood floors. There are drinking fountains outside the classroom, so we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle (with a lid) if you want water in the room.
