The Discovery Building is a new building on the University of Wisconsin campus. Our Friday dance will be held in the H.F. DeLuca Forum, located in the heart of Town Center, the first floor of the building. With such a beautiful hardwood floor, you won't want to stop dancing, but there is plenty of seating outside the room to allow you to relax and catch up with friends if you need a break.
The Overture Center for the Arts is a beautiful location seated in the heart of downtown Madison, one short block from the Capitol. All of the Saturday and Sunday classes will be located in this venue, as well as the Saturday dance. Pay close attention to the listed rooms on the schedule, as they will change by day.
Downtown Madison has plenty of reasonably priced parking options. Several University parking ramps are available near the Discovery Building and several city parking ramps are available near the Overture Center.
For the Friday dance, parking in the ramps will likely be easier and inexpensive. Click on the lot links to find more information, including a real-time listing of spaces available. You may also consult the Discovery Building Parking page for more details. If you would prefer street parking, try the nearby neighborhoods to the south and southeast of the building.
Ramps will likely be your best option for Saturday classes, as hourly rates are inexpensive and street parking is limited and metered. Street parking is free after 6pm and on Sundays. Leave yourself extra time to travel to the Saturday dance, because the Overture Center has evening events that may affect parking availability and traffic.
